Monday It’s the Music We lost a great one Sunday-Lou Reed. We’ll play a lot of his music on Monday—feel free to let us know some songs you’d like to hear. How about some bands that we never even heard of—but put out some great music—little home grown bands that work hard, put out CDs and never get noticed—except by music heads like you and WMNF—Courtney Barnett, Ezra Furman, Charlie Boyer and the Voyeurs--who? See what I mean. We also have new CDs from Of Montreal, Moby, Jack Johnson, Best Coast and Lissie. We will also feature music from bands playing in the area this week, including Andrew Calhoun who thinks folk singers are boring—yet he is one….we’ll find out more when he shows up live in the studio around 3p.
