Monday, Jan 27 - “Pictures of immaturity - pt 11.” Look at what Paul stated in 1Cor 14:20,33 -”20 Brethren, do not be children in understanding; however, in malice be babes, but in understanding be mature. 33 For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.” Many believe that “ignorance is bliss” and because of their ignorance in understanding spiritual Kingdom-Truths, they have allowed selfish malice into their hearts and have brought confusion into our churches instead of peace. The spiritual ignorance of children has been caused by a lack of Revealed knowledge in their hearts. Picture 11 - Immature children do not have Kingdom-stability established in their hearts. Look at what Paul said about this in Eph 4:14 - “that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting”. The devil have “plotted it” and many have “bought it”. God has perfectly designed in this earth, if you will, a well oiled machine called the Body of Christ. In the Body of Christ, “each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christs gift”, v.7, and it grows and flows “according to the effective working by which every part does its share”, v.16. However if each part does not receive the correct nourishment for it to grow in the understand of their inner reality and how to allow this unlimited measure of Grace to flow from their heart, the Body will not be able to grow in the way that God has designed it to. Look at what Paul said here in v.11 - “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers”. Here in this verse, we see the leadership of the Body of Christ. Leadership does not mean “rulership” - as those who take precedent over others, but leadership means “Kingdom-trainers” - those who are anointed to receive Revelation knowledge AND to unfold it to others in such a way that they can see it. God has hand-picked His Kingdom-trainers that the saints, through receiving from them unfolding God’s Word, will be Kingdom-equipped “for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ”, v.12. Many think and have been taught that God uses situations to equip the believer, but as we see here, God has called His Kingdom-trainers to aid in doing this job. Then we are told the purpose for this equipping - “13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children”. I don’t know if you have noticed in this brief summary about God’s design for the growth of His Body, but this is a continual flow of the anointing and receiving His Revelation knowledge. Look at what John said in explaining this in 1John 2:20,27 - “20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. 27 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.” John, in talking to believers about being equipped to stand against the spirit of the antichrist, said in v.20 that they had the anointing when Jesus came into their spirit. Then in v.27, John takes it a step further in instructing them to RECEIVE the teaching (word) from this anointing. Continue to allow the work of the anointing in your heart; for only the anointing can enable you through His Revelation knowledge to be the “perfect man” and no longer children that are tossed to and fro. God’s word to you- “Rest securely in the workings of My Love within your heart. Don’t look to the right hand or to the left; for surely there are impostors seeking only to bring you into more turmoil and deception. Stay steadily on the course with what I reveal to you and be equipped with My wisdom and understanding. Let My Love empower you to run in the newness of life. Therefore, you are empowered to run in My victory! You are empowered to run for the prize! You are empowered to run for your deliverance! You are empowered to run for your healing! You are empowered to run for your crown of glory! Let My Love control everyone of your situations in life and you will see and experience the blissfulness of My power in new dimensions, bringing you into a new freedoms of My Spirit; for you will have crossed over the bridge of mediocrity once and for all and are now experiencing the unlimited measure of the power of My Love.”
