Monday January 27 The Mailmans Children The Mailmans Children are defining a new era of North American rock with their 3rd studio release Supply and Demand. While their driving edge and passionate performance are unmistakable, it is likely their thought-provoking lyrics and easy-listening, sophisticated sounds that will captivate you the most. Coined a North American-based rock band, The Mailmans Children (TMC) is stationed out of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Front man, Eric Labossiere resides a few hours away in Minneapolis, MN, USA, but is very often in Winnipeg rehearsing and recording with the other members, where he was born and raised. One year after the birth of TMC in 2000, songwriter and lead vocalist Labossiere had recruited the musician line-up that remains to this day: Joel Couture (Joe C) on bass, Joel Perreault (Joe P) on lead electric guitar and backing vocals, and Eddie Vesely on drums and electronics. Winnipegger Ivan Burke is known to fill in on drums when the band tours. TMC has done numerous TV and radio appearances, and toured much of North America. Capable of turning on their rock show or falling back on their acoustic charm, they’ve played with a variety of acts over the years to include Wide Mouth Mason, The Northern Pikes, Mark Reeves, Sass Jordan, Alannah Myles, Son of Dave (Ben Darvill of The Crash Test Dummies), Roller, Greg MacPherson, Pushing Daisies, Keith and Renee, Sinclair and many more. Following a short hiatus, The Mailman’s Children have returned stronger than ever with their third studio album; say fans and industry professionals alike. Their 2013 release, “Supply & Demand,” is deemed edgy and raw, with vocals ringing clear and passionate.
