Monday July 14, 2017 (day 190) Its so hard to write posts updating you about Jay when Im not there....but dont worry....Im headed south bright and early tomorrow morning to get back to my sweetie! Jay was surprised this morning when he was told to get ready as he was heading back to St. Johns Rehab! Wow!! That was quick!! 😳 A short time later he was told to hang on for a bit as they were not sure if the bed was still available......I was kinda hoping it wasnt as I wanted to be there when he was transferred.... But not long after that, Jay texted that they did in fact have a bed available, but that his hemoglobin was showing at 51. The doctors were questioning the results as they had just watched Jay wheeling himself around the floor....lol. An hour later, after yet another blood test, Jay was cleared to leave. (His hemoglobin was showing at 77). Holy smokes what an up and down day! Jay got to the rehab this aft and saw everyone...the doctor, the physiotherapist and the occupational therapist. Afterwards, he was so wiped that he sleep till almost dinner time. Lol Meanwhile, I spent the day out and about with Cayley and the babies. I did a few errands, hit the bank to get some things done there and of course to catch up with the girls! 😃. I had a great lunch with Katherine Woodhead, Jackie Turcotte-Laflair and Cayley L. MacDonald along with Bobby Haskins. So nice to have a meal with friends and not be eating by myself like when Im in Toronto. This afternoon I spent looking at houses. Our lease in Toronto is up the end of September, so we need to start figuring out where we are going to go. Jays parents, Cathy and Miley, came with me for some moral support.....now if I find a place that Jay doesnt like, he cant just blame me!! 😜 haha As I was getting ready to post this update, Asher rolled over for the first time ever! He kept getting his arm stuck underneath himself though..... He must of known I was leaving tomorrow and wanted to share the experience with his Amma! ❤️ I texted Jay the news and he said he could relate as he would probably get his arm stuck underneath himself if he tried to roll over!!!😜😜. OMG ....just the thought of that makes me giggle. Hugs, xo TYD
