Monday June 17, 2013 SKY CONDITION: Cloudy skies today. A large area of cloudiness and thunderstorms are over Honduras and the northwestern Caribbean Sea. This system continues to show signs of organization; however, it is forecast to move inland over Belize and the Yucatan peninsula later today. Significant development is not expected over the next day or so. Heavy rains and gusty winds are likely over portions of main land Honduras, The Bay Islands, Guatemala, Belize and eastern Mexico during the next day or two. Else where, tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 48 hours. TEMPERATURE: From the low 80’s F to low 90’s F (26 to 32 C). WINDS: Winds will be from the ESE at 15 to 25 mph or possible higher.
