Monday : Largely dry for Scotland and northern Ireland, with some brightness for eastern Scotland. Fog patches across central and southern england and wales slowly clearing this morning, with scattered showers edging northwards through the day. Showers heavy at times during the afternoon. Gradually turning more unsettled this week and cooler, with a band of cloud and rain spreading southeastwards on wednesday. Turning wet and windy from the northwest during friday. Latest gfs pressure chart for the 8th October, currently next week is looking rather unsettled as low pressure becomes a dominant feature. Many places seeing showers or longer outbreaks of rain and windy with gales possible, temperatures cooler than of late. Autumn finally arrives #
