Thought you might enjoy this sample: Ruth Moose, Poet Inspired by Rita Baldwin’s Ever Hopeful Blue Her sadness on the road was a delicate pentecost, blue as the lupine eyes of the child in the cathedral window. White as the dove in her hands that will later hurl itself over water casting purple shadows at the feet of trees.
