Monday Night Musings. Had a lot go down here over this past - TopicsExpress

Monday Night Musings. Had a lot go down here over this past weekend, which always leads to some busy times here at Super Sled on a Monday. Here are a few points to ponder for my Super Sled family and friends: 1. Dont be a dick. Sorry for the crass phrasing, but Ive noticed a certain amount of people on here now are finding entertainment in starting arguments and stirring the pot. Or, telling us all how smart they are. Dont do it. I had to kick another guy to the curb this evening, for being a complete dick to other members. It wont fly here, and Im finding that I have less tolerance for that kind of behavior. If youre here to start arguments, bash other people or their sleds, or otherwise act like a jerk-off, please leave the group now. Super Sled isnt for you, and youre not for us. 2. Were going to have another round of Talk Tuesday tomorrow, where we come up with a topic that a lot to you will be able to take part in, and have some fun with. Looking to make this a weekly deal, so if youve got some topics that we should consider, please send me a private message. 3. Ive got some updates coming on the Super Sled Speed Shop, which I think a lot of you will find of value. Also, Ive got over 50 requests to join the Shop that Ive replied to for screening purposes, and am waiting to hear back on. If I sent you a note explaining the group membership criteria, please reply to those as soon as possible. Hope to have all of the Speed Shop info updated by tomorrow night. 4. One of our members requested today that we should start having Super Sled Meet-ups at events that were attending. Obviously we all cant be everywhere, but if youre going to be at an event and want to set a time to meet other Super Sled Members to put a name with a face, let us know. I am planning on going out to Waconia this weekend, so maybe some of us could meet up out there? 5. I was discussing some racing classes with an old friend here earlier, and we both agreed that there seems to be a real revival in the Pro Stock 800 class. The sleds are reasonable priced to build, and will still give a very fast ride in 660 on the ice. Im also going to go out on a limb, and say were likely to see quite a few Pro Stock 600s coming back out this year. Again, theyre a relatively easy, inexpensive build that will offer a nice bang for the buck. Ok, thats about all for this old boy for one night. See you all mid-morning for our latest round of Talk Tuesday.
