Monday Night Scramble Results: May 12, 2014 All-Star’s Upset Again! The Super Senior All-Stars have struggled on par 3’s all year. This week the trend continued. Failing to convert on either of them resulted in a second place finish as Jamie Donaldson, Josh & Steve Amergian, and Rus Taylor took down the Senior All-Stars by one stroke in week 3. The crucial hole was the par 3 (#4), as they birdied the hole to post a 30(-5). Ed Doughty, Don Cobb, Topper West, and Wayne Pollard posted 31(-4). For the first time this year we have a tie for low net. Steve Scotia, Jan Scotia, RJ Chamberland, and Cooper Chamberland finished with a 34-27.5. Also coming in with a net 27.5 were the team of Dan Noyes, Neil Maietta, Nick Fabbricante, and Molly Fabbricante. They really had it going but a bogey on the #8 took them out of the running for the upset of the Senior All-Star’s. Closest to the Pin winners were #4 Jesse Miller 3’6” and #6 Chris Legro 6’6”. The Senior All-Star’s had an unexpected guest follow them around this week as Mike Cobb, who has been on the disabled list early on in the season, was on hand to evaluate what was happening to his team. They have clearly underperformed this season and maybe Mike can pinpoint some needed adjustments. We can’t wait until Week 4.
