Monday O Lord, You have searched me and known me. Psalm 139:1 I am always amazed at the number of books that continue to be published...on the topic of self-esteem. I can only conclude that...many people are struggling with a poor self-image. The reason...is ultimately that people do not see themselves as being valuable, worthy, or acceptable to God. When a person knows he is of extreme importance to God, and God loves him, values him, and desires to be in close relationship with him, that person has confidence and a strong self-image. The wisdom of God leads us to see ourselves as God sees us, not as the world defines us. The last line here says it all, The wisdom of God leads us to see ourselves as God sees us, not as the world defines us. Amen! Have a great start to the week!
