Monday Prayer Lord, as we get closer to the day we commemorate the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ; create in us a pure heart that pours out divine love at anytime in any situation. Father, today we pray that you cleanse our tongues, for much evil and strife is brought by what we say. With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in Gods likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. This is unacceptable, for fresh water and salty water will never flow from the same spring. Lord, help us to be fresh water that comes with perfect healing for those who suffer from bitterness and distress. For the Lord our God made plans to raise up to David a righteous Branch, A King who reigns wisely and do what is just and right in the land. Judah has been saved and Israel will live in safety. The LORD Our Righteousness. And in Jesus Christ we are transformed from the inside out! Amen. (Prayer based on James 3:9-10 & Jeremiah 23:5-6)
