Also, exports have increased by almost 20% in terms of growth, Haiti has achieved undeniable results during the past year. The Prime Minister will highlight progress in agriculture where production are on the rise, with better performance in 2013. He will mention among other efforts at the level of environmental policy of the Government with the activation of a body of forest monitoring, the implementation of the Biological Corridor of the Caribbean and major infrastructure projects. Laurent Lamothe will also focus on commercial and industrial achievements, the creation of new jobs in the textile, advances in areas of tourism, judicial, social affairs, public health, foreign affairs, planning and external cooperation, education, public works, energy, culture and communication, defense, fight against extreme poverty etc...
