Monday evening and its that time again folks! We still need lots and lots of volunteers this week, to make Telford parkrun happen! Here are the available roles: Backup Timer - Sounds complicated but really isnt and you will also get your hands on a shiny new stopwatch... oooooooooooh!!! Funnel Manager - A bit like a nightclub bouncer, but friendlier... unless you cross the finish line more than once! 2 x Barcode Scanners - Barcode zapping heroes, who help to make the parkrun magic happen... you even get lasers! Finish Token Support - Handing out finish position tokens to anything on two legs, bingo calling optional! Number checker - Writing down barcodes that wont scan and looking disappointedly at runners who have forgotten their barcode! #DFYB 5 x Marshals - The superheroes around the course, who give the runners hope... when they think all is lost! Start/Finish Assistant - A happy helper for the Run Director. If Santa was Run Director... think of yourself as an Elf! If you are able to help this week then please either let me know on here, or ping a quick email to telfordoffice@parkrun and we will happily add you to the roster!
