Monday evening revue. Called and spoke with my Mom, she sounded pretty relaxed. She said that the medical team wants a meeting with family tomorrow morning. My sister, Sharyle, and brother-in-law, Roy will be present with Mom for the meeting. She stated that all the doctors have conferred and they want to go over the progress and projections for Dad. Today started with positives and ended with Dad stressed, agitated and slipping back into the delirium as his energies dwindled, it was a long day for him. The Friday and Saturday contacts with the lead neurosurgeon gave us information that ups and downs are expected, progress would be more ups, fewer downs and lowered agitations. I have no preconceptions on what the outcome of the meeting will be tomorrow, but I still know that Gods in full control. Mom did say the best part of the today was when Dad, on hearing one doctor say he didnt fish but climbs mountain, interrupted and told that doctor that he would teach him how to fish. We also talked a little about the birthday party that John Jr. & Dori put on for Sharyle (a few of her pics captured and attached). Although normal is a long way off, its nice for those moments of normalcy that can be fit in from time to time. I know that my getting back to feeling rested and ready for the return to Seattle for a few day this week hasnt yet been achieved, but will continue trying to be busy with norm rather than focused on what I need to simply wait patiently and keep reminding myself - Gods got it!
