Monday evening update... J. ‘MILES’ VENTIMIGLIA Star-Journal Editor Warrensburg – No bond is allowed for accused murderer Ziyad Tariq Abid, 24, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. After hearing from prosecution and defense attorneys – both saying the case would go smoother if the man on trial could be free on bond – Circuit Judge Mike Wagner issued the “no bond” ruling Monday. Wagner’s ruling states there is no bond amount sufficient to guarantee Abid would remain in the country to stand trial. “The defendant ... is an unlawful alien and is subject to deportation if released,” Wagner’s ruling states.
