Monday is The James Beard Awards here in NYC. Super excited for all the Chefs nominated. I am cooking a special lunch on Monday, as I do every year, for a number of nominees. Very nervous. Heading to the market to pick up my sunchokes, scallions, flowering chives, dandelion greens and watercress. I am also buying some freshly dug parsnips. To me, these vegetables are the true beginnings of Spring.
