Monday might be a day of rage for #Ferguson. I hope not. To be stoic does not mean things are forgiven or forgotten, or that one is passive and defeated. It just means thinking beyond violent solutions: they are *expecting* you to lose it. Dont. There are other solutions but if it becomes violent, every possibility goes up in flames with the violence. Act with a greater wisdom than those who do not believe in you. There are few comforts for those who have lost a child. Aeschylus is as close as well ever get, and RFK said these words so long ago. Even in our sleep, pain which cannot forget / falls drop by drop upon the heart until, / in our own despair, against our will, / comes wisdom through the awful grace of God.
