Monday morning mancave report, nice breeze outside this morning, makes it hard to get up of a morning. The sound of a summer breeze in the trees is a completely different sound from the same breeze in the same trees say ... in January or February, dont know what that is (maybe the leaves) but its just something Ive noticed. Things are pretty quiet around the cave, Dakotas been in Colorado and the cows have been staying in (kinda except Else ) the past couple of days. Mom has quit answering phone, it was kinda nice in rehab she had it in a little pouch around her neck . She answered it every time and kept it charged but upon returning home she is back to leaving unchanged or cant hear it. Ive told her Im going to start calling the sheriffs office and requesting a welfare check on her and sam, she doesnt like that idea so I guess ill just let her call me instead. The security team has stashed their ricky the racoon rope somewhere, a least its not out front anyway. I think Ike is upset I drained the pool, hes kinda been moping around the yard, it could be because Dakota hasnt been around or maybe both. There was quite a lightning show this morning around 5 or so. I know this because Arkansas Dave came to the window requesting to be let in, as I stumbled through the dark to let him in I noticed a flash outside. The boys and Sweetie Pie werent barking so I went out to investigate. I couldnt see any lightning or hear any thunder, just a flashing off to the southeast. It sorta had stormy feel in the air for bit under the walnut trees, Dave probably thought so to.
