Monday morning mancave report, sprinkle of rain falling here in the Rock Bottom. There seems to be a lot of survivors this morning, actually I dont see much movement so that estimate may be low. We had some technical difficulties yesterday first being my outsider was a no show. Not the first time this has happened so we found a volunteer who did a great job even though his horse ducked away at the finish line (and I mean at the finish line, it was soo close) but a big thanks to JW for lending a hand. Second, Willie and Nelson was going to be fooled into an easy start two days in a row and were being butt heads. We started further back than the day before, our time was 60.9 seconds with a no time penalty because the outrider didnt cross the finish line. We did however a moment when circling the barrels that I felt the new wagon was about to sling me and Dakota both out ! But we hung on and opened them up on the straight away. Willie and Nelson are walking the pen this morning, I think they know its time to go home. The funny part is when everybody met at the cave to come down, Willie and Nelson started braying like they knew we were about to head out to a race. Ive had a great time seeing old friends and making new ones but I think im ready to get back to my little pasture on the creek. I know the security team probably are wondering where Im at and Sweetie Pie and Gus are not very good at organizing a search party its their attention span that holds them back (sweetie is always distracted by squatches she says) and they cant work phones or walkie talkies because of their paws you know. Guess yhey will let me know whats happened while I was gone, with mom being in rehab (that sounds funny) probably not a lot other than his heart attack Sam never gets in any predicaments like mom, thank goodness couldnt handle two of them. Im goung to try and load up some stuff a maybe wake up all these kiyiers that kiyid all night and get on the road. Stay warm
