Monday morning update: Daniel had a lot of stimulating and invigorating company yesterday and he responded so well to them--he opened his eyes slightly, nodded his head (esp no when asked if he wanted peanut butter!!) and left us all with a sense of hope that he will wake up. I went over early this morning for a little mom time alone with him, some meditation time. At one point he reached towards his nose, towards the N.G. tube and I very quietly redirected him and he slowly withdrew his hand. Instincts tell me that he will wake more this afternoon and may even join us in this time and space for at least awhile today. In deep gratitude for all of your prayers, sharing, energy that have helped sustain and nourish us during these agonizing times. With much love, Sue
