Monday morning with thunder storms here, busy day though, printing pics to restock what sold at weekends show....Heres a short story from the loon pond.....there are two pair (there was three) on the pond...along with some visitors (sometimes called rogues)....the Parents of this chick left the baby all alone close to the nest site.....soon as they left, the baby started peeping non-stop.....I paddled over to it and it stopped.......tried to back away in case parents came back....it would cry again.....paddle back, alls quiet.....parents finally came back from visiting with the rogues.....life was good...not five minutes later.....one of the rogues invaded the territory......the other photo showed what happened.....the intruder is on the left and lost the battle
