Monday night was, what we call in the States, Big Trash Day, when people roam the neighborhood looking for abandoned treasures. They come in vans presumably looking for things that can be sold, and they come on foot presumably looking for more personal items. And as I struggled to carry home this crimson, Napoleon-sized chair, it occurred to me that I am such a hoarder that I cannot even through out other peoples trash.
