Reflection on Cancer We prepare for the month of Cancer, for summer solstice, for the Gate where spirits enter matter today. Today, the 4th Day After Christmas, on our way, our journey under the direction of Sirius, with the Three Kings, gifts in hand, seeking the Holy Child – preparing for Epiphany – January 6th. Neptune - on the Spiritual level – (beyond our comprehension) Into the 4th heart petal of the Lotus. *** Cancer Quotes Message of the month of Cancer Incarnation (birth into the Earth plane) of souls is the celestial drama in the month of Cancer and the release of the souls from the form of the carnation is the drama played in the month of Capricorn. Souls enter into the threefold body to fulfill their purposes and disincarnate when the purposes are fulfilled. The life of the human is so profound, and the experience of fulfillment is so vast, that one cannot experience the whole universe in one lifetime. Therefore, there is the facility of reincarnation. Souls reincarnate innumerable times to experience different aspects of life - physical, emotional, mental and buddhic (spiritual). As each learning is fulfilled, one progressively moves on. Non-fulfillment (of learning, of the tasks, etc.) leads one back to incarnation (birth into the Earth plane). Unfulfilled desires, unfulfilled thoughts, unfulfilled ideologies bring Souls back into the bodies of flesh and blood, so that they have more opportunities to continue the program of fulfillment. Fulfillment of experiences in order to learn how to be in form & matter, building & strengthening the personality for further direction by the Soul, intermediary between Spirit (the Father) & matter (the Mother). We stand in between. Cancer offers incarnation (birth into form & matter) at three different levels. The birth of the Soul can be in the body of flesh and blood (the personality level). It can also be in the body of golden light (the Soul level). It can finally be in the body of diamond light (Spiritual level). Depending upon the evolution of the person –we (the Soul) received the appropriate related vestments (bodily covering). The initial process of Discipleship is to consciously (& choose joyfully) accept the disciplines related to the rebirth in the body of light (Soul’s light) likewise, rebirth in the body of diamond light (the Light of the Will of God, the Will-to-Good). On the Soul level, Joy is the result of this acceptance. A Disciple is one who has sufficiently fulfilled (completed) the mundane (everyday learning) experiences (building a strong personality) and is seeking super-mundane (seeking the Soul for direction) experiences. Just like the youth no longer feels attracted to the plays of the kindergarten, a Soul evolving shifts its emphasis from mundane (personality, personal only) fulfillments to super-mundane fulfillments (service, serving the world & those in need – the activity of the Soul focus). Be it body of flesh and blood (personality triangle) or body of golden light (Soul & the Soul triangle) or body of diamond light (Spirit – Monadic Triangle above the 6-pointed star), it is still a body. Proffering (providing physical) bodies to incarnating Souls is the work of Cancer. Moon, Saturn and Uranus are the related planetary energies that enable incarnation of the respective bodies, regarding the fitness of the Soul. The Tasks Aspirants who dwell in the bodies of flesh and blood (building the personality need to embark upon refining the body of flesh and blood through right thought, speech and action, so that the body brings out the hidden light within its material (the hidden light within matter), just like milk gives forth butter. This work can be done through thoughts of good will, speeches of love and actions of wisdom. These two signs are the two great Gates of the zodiac—one opening the door into incarnation, into mass life and into human experience (Cancer’s Gate), whilst the other opens the door into the life of the Spirit, into the life of the Kingdom of God, the life and purposes of the Hierarchy of our planet (Capricorn’s Gate). Cancer admits the Soul into the world centre which we call Humanity. Capricorn admits the Soul into conscious participation in the life of that world centre which we call the Hierarchy. Libra admits the soul into the world centre which we call Shamballa, for it is the polar opposite of Aries which is the place of beginnings. … As we pass around and around the zodiac in the ordinary manner (building the personality through experiences in form/matter), we continually and consciously enter into life under the influence of Cancer, the constellation under which the Law of Rebirth is applied and administered (Cancer’s task).
