Hide the fugitives, do not betray the refugees. 4 Let the Moabite fugitives stay with you; be their shelter from the destroyer." The oppressor will come to an end, and destruction will cease; the aggressor will vanish from the land. 5 In love a throne will be established; in faithfulness a man will sit on it — one from the house of David — one who in judging seeks justice and speeds the cause of righteousness. Concerned about a sudden change in her memory and health, Angeline visited her family physician. An MRI detected alarming results: Blood was putting pressure on Angeline’s brain. Soon after, Angeline saw a neurosurgeon who recommended surgery to remove the unwelcome fluid. While routine for a neurosurgeon, brain surgery was not something on Angeline’s weekly agenda. She and her daughters sought God’s help as they contemplated this major procedure. Angeline and her family knew that God would answer their pleas. And, whatever the outcome, God would walk with them. What decisions are you facing today? While they may not involve brain surgery, know that they are important to God. I want to encourage you to ask the Holy Spirit for guidance, healing, and comfort today. Allow the Master Surgeon to complete His great work!
