#MondayMatters Only 2% of blood donors are from the Black & Ethnic Minority community yet the demand for blood remains high. Blood transfusions are used to treat people suffering from Cancer, Leukemia, people involved in accidents as well as those with Sickle Cell and Thalassemia which are especially prominent in the ethnic minority community. Lets work to improve this figure and increase the number of blood donors from the black and ethnic minority community.
