MondayReminder:, 19th day of Dhul Hijjah. Evidence From the Acts of the Apostles that Jesus Christ (Peace be upon him) was a servant of Allah not part of Allah and He(AS) was a Muslim and never invented Christianity. Note: A Muslim is anyone who submit to the will of Allah (God/Lord Almighty). Our beloved Jesus Christ, Eesah/Isa Ibn Mariam (AS) performed many miraculous wonders, and He (AS)without doubt said a lot of wonderful things about Himself(AS) and His Creator Allah. Unfortunately Some people use what He(AS) said and did as a proof that he was Allah or part of Allah (WaeeyaazAllah). But His(AS) original disciples who lived and walked with Him, and were eyewitnesses to what He(AS) said and did, never reached such conclusion. The Acts of the Apostles in the Bible details the activity of the disciples over a period of thirty years after Jesus(AS) was lifted up to heavens. Throughout this period they never refer to Jesus(AS) as Allah or part of Allah(Trinity). They continually and consistently use the title Allah to refer to someone else other than Jesus(AS). Peter stood up with the eleven disciples and addressed the crowd saying: “Men of Israel, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by Allah(God) to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which The The Lord/God did among You THROUGH Him, as you yourselves know.” (Acts 2:22). It was Allah, therefore, who did the miracles through Jesus(AS) to convince people that Jesus(AS) was backed by Allah or Jesus(AS) was an agent/ servant of Allah. Peter did not see the miracles as proof that Jesus(AS) is Allah or part of Allah. In fact, the way Peter refers to Allah and to Jesus(AS) makes it clear that Jesus is not Allah or part of Allah. For he always turns the title God/Lord away from Jesus(AS. Take the following references for example:“The God/Lord has raised this Jesus(AS)...” (Acts 2:32)“God has made this Jesus(AS), whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.” (Acts 2:36). In both passages, the title Lord is turned away from Jesus(AS). So why he did this, if Jesus(AS) was Lord? For Peter, Jesus(AS) was a servant of The Lord. Peter said: “The Lord raised up his servant...”(Acts 3:26). The title servant refers to Jesus.(AS) This is clear from a previous passage where Peter declared: “The Lord of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, The Lord of our fathers, has glorified His servant Jesus(AS).” (Acts 3:13). Peter must have known that Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob never spoke of a Triune Lord. They always spoke of The Lord as the only Lord. Here, as in Matthew 12:18, Jesus is the servant of The Lord. Matthew tells us that Jesus was the same servant of The Lord spoken of in Isaiah 42:1. So, according to Matthew and Peter, Jesus is not Lord or part of Him, but The Lord’s servant. To be continued In Shaa Allah. May Allah guide all misguided to Islam. Aameen.
