Mondays Question - (cont.) - What do I do if they say yes to following Jesus? The 2nd Story to review is found in --Luke 18:9-17 This parable is about the Pharisee & Tax Collector. Look at how it teaches the kingdom of God is for humble & repentant sinners, not the proud & self-righteous. Jesus tells the story of the good Pharisee who doesnt need to repent vs. the very bad tax collector who begs for Gods forgiveness. Keep your discussion questions simple. 1) What do we learn about God? 2) What do we learn about Man? 3) Is there an example to follow? 4) Is there a command to obey? 5) Is there a sin to avoid? 6) Which character in this story do you most identify with? Remember this verse: Timothy, my dear son, be strong through the grace that God gives you in Christ Jesus. You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses.
