Mondays surgery was a success, my bicep is now re-attached. It wasnt easy for the surgeon, I was under for over twice as long as expected, and when it was over I had real difficulties recovering. I left the hospital at 11:30pm in a pretty bad state unable to even walk properly. My arm is now black with bruising from my wrist to my arm pit. The very next morning I flew to Sydney straight form Melbourne for our final meeting at Sydney Olympic Park with the venue staff and technical team in preparation for GPA Worlds in just a few short weeks time. Its been a tough couple of days, but so worth it. Thanks to Justine Hallam and Karen Coleiro for taking care of me, and to all those people who have message me or commented wishing me luck and a good recovery.
