Money over everything. A phrase screamed aloud in the streets by those who dont have much of it, and wispered quietly behind the closed doors of those that do. M.O.E. One of the main reasons in 2014 people still die from the common cold, influenza, HIV, AIDS, cancer, ebola, enterovirus 68, malaria and many other things. Money over everything. To me, this is the dumbest statement Ive ever encountered. Money is useless. It is literally an I.O.U. It holds no actual value. I pray for the day people start screaming humans over everything. We spend billions upon billions of dollars yearly, trying to find new planets like ours and microscopic aliens. We have already abandoned a planet we know very little about. We havent cured those diseases because there is no monetary benefit. The technology is here and has been for a while. The funding has also been here, we just like to waste it on the ridiculous. There is a multi billion dollar remote controlled car on Mars right this second. The only justification I can think of for wasting that much money on a single trip to that planet, is if it is entirely made up of a cure for cancer. Mars dust better cure everything or we need to stop wasting our intelligence, time, and money. What if that money was spent trying to cure those aforementioned afflictions? What if it wasnt used to find new, more efficient and innovative ways to kill each other? What if people actually tried to cure diseases instead of treating the symptoms, just to make a profit and fill their wallets with IOUs? What if the majority of people actually cared about other humans who, have nothing to do with them, but could definitely use their help. If we are going to be slaves to something we created, we could at least slave over something beneficial. I really need to create blog. #BentingOver #ForNow
