Mongolia and Russia to expand collaboration in civil aviation. During the visit of Mongolian Minister of Road and Transport to Mongolia by the invitation of his Russian counterpart, parties had initialled the Memorandum of Understanding between the Federal Air Transport Agency of Russia and the Civil Aviation Authority of Mongolia, the signing of which is scheduled during the upcoming official visit of the Russian President Vladimir Putin in Mongolia in September, 2014. The Minister A.Gansukh and the Head of Mongolian Civil Aviation Authority T.Lkhagvasuren also met with the Head of Russian Federal Air Transport Agency Alexandr Neradko and discussed about further collaboration issues, including training of Mongolian students at the Russian institutes and universities of civil aviation, cooperation in the air traffic organization and maintenance of airworthiness.
