Monmouth College (IL) International Student Scholarships Monmouth College is a selective, private, residential liberal arts college of 1260 students and 97 faculty in west central Illinois. It offers courses in the sciences, humanities, social sciences and arts (popular majors include computer science, communications and public relations, psychology, chemistry, physics, environmental science, international business and accounting). Monmouth College has a longstanding tradition of welcoming students from every part of the world. The College accepts applications at any point throughout the year. There is no application fee, and admitted students are automatically considered for academic merit scholarship awards. SAT or ACT scores are helpful in the admissions review but are not required. The Colleges merit-based financial assistance ranges from approximately $18,000 per year up to $21,000 per year (total assistance over four years averages $76,000). All scholarships are renewable for each year of the students college career (up to four years in total, given good academic standing) - these are not one-year scholarships.
