Monolith Construction & Development Corporation , one of the largest General Contractors here in the Philippines, held its first ever fundraising event last May 2012 entitled 513 Run. The said event was a Corporate Social Responsibility Activity slash Fundraising Event organized strictly for the companys employees. The proceeds raised amounting to Php 500,000.00 was then donated to SM Foundation, Inc.. In cooperation with SM Prime Holdings, Inc., one of our largest clients, we were able to build a one-storey two classroom at Sta. Monica Elementary School in San Pablo, Laguna City thru the Adopt-a-School Program of the Department of Education. The classrooms were inaugurated last September 20, 2013. A Certificate of Recognition was awarded to us by the DepEd spearheaded by DepEd Secretary Armin A. Luistro last December 12, 2013. Due to the huge success of the event, the management of Monolith Construction & Development Corporation decided to organize another Fun Run / Fundraising event. The said event is open to all. Proceeds of which will be allocated to rebuild, restore, rehabilitate and reconstruct the Tacloban City.
