Monroe Blvd. Open House Wednesday Jan 14th, 6 pm Senior Center 485 E 2550 N (south of Library & City Hall) We have nearly completed the survey work of the neighborhoods surrounding Monroe Blvd. and are ready to present the proposed alignment and route for Monroe Blvd. and to hear your feedback. We are holding an Open House to get your input and to present info about this project and to answer questions. We have sent a personal invitation to all property owners along the proposed route (attached), but all residents are also invited to attend. Please remember: we are only purchasing the right-of-way for the future road at this point (i.e., the ground on which the road will eventually run). Property owners who sell the right-of-way will be able to continue using it for agricultural purposes until the time comes for the road to be constructed. Actual construction is still an unknown number of years in the future, and will depend largely on the pace of development in that area. *Note: This Open House is only about Monroe Blvd., and is not to be confused with the Downtown Plan Open House on January 20th, which is also at the Senior Center.
