Monsanto is /the/ suckiest corporation in the history of human kind. Its not that their GMO needed to be dangerous, evil or stupid, mind you. They have the technology to do the coolest things, with no limits but what the imagination can devise. * They could have spliced octopus camouflage into human skin, allowing humans to visually portray a story without words -- what a great translation tool! * But instead of doing cool and amazing modifications, they genetically modified an over-used, economically and environmentally unhealthy crop (corn, used to make high fructose corn syrup, one of the deadliest substances known to man in terms of total deaths caused) -- and did they modify it to make it healthier? No. They modified it to be tolerant to higher amounts of toxic Monsanto pesticides. Forget about the evil for a moment, and just think: how unimaginative, soul-less, boring and stupid are the people at Monsanto who decide what products to develop.
