Montgomery County Assisted Living Monday we began our - TopicsExpress

Montgomery County Assisted Living Monday we began our day with our daily exercise program and then we headed into the activity room where we played several rounds of bingo. We had a singing after a delicious lunch and then we met back in the activity area for a little card making. Tuesday we had our morning exercise class and then we played "name three" in the activity room. We were entertained in the afternoon with a live band and they were great! Wednesday we had our exercise and then we mixed in some fun with a little more exercise and lots of laughs as well. We watched an old western called Two Mules for sister Sarath and enjoyed chocolate caramel milkshakes for refreshments. We also had some fun with word-search puzzles later on that afternoon. Thursday after our exercise class we loaded up and went to our local thrift store for a little bargain hunting, and of course we found plenty of them! We were greeted with smiling and helpful ladies who are always so good to lend a helping hand and great conversation. We had our Bible study group that afternoon, and some of us got together in the dining room and played dominos. Friday we had our exercise class and then afterwards, we had a little fun in the sun with a family barbeque! We had watergun fights, water balloon toss, horseshoes, and even a pie in the face contest! We also had a visit from twin lambs and they were so sweet. We took a moment out where our fathers were honored and presented with a Bible to show our love and appreciation for them. We loaded up after lunch and went to the local dollar stores and by Sun Screen video to pick up a movie for the weekend. Saturday we after our exercise class we had a little pampering with nail polishing and manicures. We enjoyed a comedy called Parental Guidance with Bette Middler and Tim Allen for our afternoon movie. Popcorn and drinks were served durning the movie. Sunday we had our weekly Sunday school class and our devotional hour was held after lunch, and they both leave us feeling as if we can face the week ahead with a smile! We want to thank all our volunteers for your time and many talents and remind you if you would like to become a volunteer, please feel free to contact myself or Sherrie Morris at 870-867-2159.
