Montrose - Around 9:30am yesterday, my neighbor saw a Hispanic and a black male (both with tattoos) knocking on my door. I live SW of the Montrose/Westheimer intersection. My neighbor said hed never seen these men before & they didnt look like people I associate with. They had backpacks and asked Do you know if shes home? Im her brother-in-law. (#1 - how do they know a females lives in my unit? #2 - my brother-in-law lives out of state.) My neighbor knew something wasnt right and said Oh are you looking for ___? and gave them a name that isnt mine; the guys said Yes. Fortunately, nothing happened and they must have left once my neighbor said he didnt know if I was home because the knocking stopped. Be aware of your surroundings. Know your neighbors. Look out for each other.
