Montserratians in the diaspora returning home this week have had to endure two days of travel uncertainty upon arriving in Antigua for their onward connection home. For those intending to travel by ferry from Antigua to Montserrat rough seas have forced a change to their travel plans as the ferry did not run on Tuesday and Wednesday. Alternative arrangements were being put in place to assist the many who have had to wait overnight in Antigua. Besides the vagaries of nature, the lack of an adequate ferry port in particular has been a setback and a constant source of bother for those in authority. The matter was discussed with top UK officials by Premier Don Romeo on his current trip to London.
