Moon faces Sundowns axe after rift with Mosimane A source within the Sundowns camp has told Goal that Moon and Mosimane were involved in a bust-up at training, and that the player could be released before the end of the month By Ernest Makhaya 08 Aug 2014 EXCLUSIVE Goal can exclusively reveal that Bryce Moon is most likely to leave Mamelodi Sundowns following an altercation with head coach Pitso Mosimane. The two clearly didnt agree on something during one of the training sessions and were taken by emotions, exchanging heated words in front of the entire team. Moon put Pitso in his place in front of the entire team. He was brave enough and it looks like he will be leaving the club because hes no longer in good terms with the coach, the source told Goal. The former Ajax Cape Town wing-back was signed just over a year ago from Bidvest Wits, and he made an immediate impact that saw him feature in 21 league games in the last campaign. However, he missed the final eight league games of the season, with Ramahlwe Mphahlele starting at right-back for the remainder of the season. To make matters worse, Moon doesnt even appear on the list of players registered with the Premier Soccer League (PSL) by Sundowns this season. These developments mean Moon could either be loaned out or released before the closing of the Transfer Window at the end of August. He hasnt featured in any of the Sundowns pre-season games, while the Brazilians have signed two right-footed defenders - Siyanda Zwane and Rheece Evans - from Golden Arrows and Maritzburg United respectively.
