His regime took a blow when the CBO reported his proposed, and in some cases forced, minimum wage hike from the current federal level of $7.25 to $10.10 would cause a loss of jobs upwards of 1 million. Now, the CBO reports that this increase in minimum wage, which amounts to a 40% increase, will increase the deficit.
