More Page Reader Feedback: Nici Quinn All I can say is OMG!! I finally was ready today to do all you said in your advice re: pulling on the lead and IT WORKED... My Kelpie boy pulled like a freight train EVERY TIME prior to today and for the first time ever he walked calmly beside me the whole time. I only had to make 2 big snaps at the beginning before he got the hint and then only a couple small tugs when he started to inch forward a bit further than I liked. You are a genius and I couldve sung Hallelujah! !!!!!! Im so happy and grateful Grant. I highly recommend anyone try your advice with pulling on the lead. He wasnt scared and I truly think he enjoyed the controlled walk lots more. He got off leash time at the park for a reward and then was perfect again as soon as I put the collar back on. Big test will be approaching the beach as he us at his most psycho there but I will keep you updated on that one. Woohoo!! Feel like taking another walk already! Lol.
