More Vitus RI100 demo feedback: Amp sounds great. More open, detailed and powerful than I have been used to. Apart from the obvious improvement to ambient vocal tracks (eg I am really liking the Gregory Porter stuff at the moment) which I probably expected, it is the improvement to more upbeat tracks that has surprised me, they are more driven and dynamic/ foot tapping/ musical. I had a quick switch back to prev amps last night and it sounded rather dull, lifeless, shallow and aggressive by comparison. It seems to me that it matches my Utopia Diablos quite well with the sweet treble preventing the tweeter getting too aggressive, lots of space and it certainly gets bags of deep but controlled and detailed bass out of them. These smallish stand mounts suddenly sound very big indeed.
