More awesome this week, Praise Jesus. I had my six week scans CT (of chest, abdomen&pelvis) and MRI (brain) last week. I received the results from my various oncologist who treat me ( I have been blessed by the Lord to be treated 3 of the smartest most competant drs in the world. Theres a lot I could and want to say but I want to keep it brief. I thank You Jesus for these Dr,s and others like them for all their hard work and dedication fighting not just lung, but all types of cancer. So, back to my results: metastic necrosis , and brain swelling (from all the treatments and surgery) has drastically reduced between Oct and last weeks scans. This is due to #1 my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and #2 actually following the Decadron(dexamethasone) protocol for a change, because my mother doles out my pills and not me. (Im HORRIBLE at following directions.) So headaches are fewer and less hallucinations out of left eye and less prominent, because of reduction of swelling on right and left sides of brain; however swelling does still exist in each location so I will continue on slow taper of the steroid. The lung nodule continues to shrink, which is great news. My drs are very excited to see how well I am feeling on this trial drug and happy to hear Im getting myself out to church and food shopping, etc! I give all Praise to The Father Son and Holy Spirt, without whom none of this would be possible. He knit me together in my mothers womb and He is sustaining me today through this aweful diseases and I feel better at times than I did looong before being being diagnosed. All because of Him and saying a simple little prayer and puting my Faith in Jesus. I lost nothing and gained EVERYTHING!!!!
