More bad news, as predicted. The latest NAB business survey reveals that business confidence has reached a 12 month low, and continues to fall. This comes hot on the heels of another survey from The BCA, I think it was, which showed that most business people thought that Tony Abbott and Joe Hockey just dont understand business. Most of us didnt need a survey to confirm this. All the signs now are there to show us that a recession is highly likely within the next twelve months. I ask again, why do Tony Abbott, Joe Hockey and Mathias Cormann not listen to economists and Treasury? Why do they not tackle the reforms recommended? Heres why. Like the current Labour Party, they are gutless. For the conservatives, it is much easier to blame the unemployed, the disabled, the ABC, the working poor and pensioners for costing the government too much money than it is to find constructive ways to grow the economy and increase productivity growth. What a sad bunch of losers these people are.
