More fish than fishermen (or fisherwomen) this weekend! Only one boat went out of Money Island this afternoon but Aleesa and her dad came back with four keepers after three drifts. We were teasing Alessa to hold the fish out in front to make them look bigger but you can see that she was struggling with the weight. Nice job Aleesa! Meanwhile, perch played hide-and-seek at the dock with some getting them, some not. John the waterman and his two buddies reported catching 15-20 Saturday afternoon after a few hours on the transition dock yesterday afternoon. One of the friends came back with his daughters today but I dont think they did as well. The best bait for big flounder continues to be Bruces giant minnows and the perch are biting on bloodworm, grass shrimp and shedder crab.
