More from Belize: No matter where we go, we must be ready to share our faith and the hope we have in Jesus. This little church in Bullet Tree Falls, Belize has great people and a great need to be discipled. Most have heard of Jesus here, and many have trusted in Christ here, but like the churches at Galatia, there is a majority belief that the law keeps one saved. Paul tells us that if righteousness comes by the law, then Jesus died in vain. For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves. It is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast Eph 2:8-9. So today my ministry was here at the home we are living in. Ms. Cathy, the cleaning lady who helps us while Bill and Rhonda are gone, allowed me to talk with her. She was raised in a catholic family, but does not own a Bible, does not attend church, and does not understand many of their rituals. I remember being there in my life, dont you? She told me if she lives right, she will go to heaven. She let me show her the Scriptures, and now she knows that its not up to her! It is a gift from God, and hallelujah!....she accepted that gift this morning! Now she doesnt just know about Jesus, she knows him personally as her savior! Have you trusted him personally? There is no better time than right now.
