More from my message yesterday morning at FM Church: As believers in and followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, we have already been translated into His eternal kingdom through faith in Him alone, so He has made us new creations in our true self or inner being (2nd Cor. 5:17). His kingdom is presently a spiritual kingdom — it has not yet been manifested in the natural realm, this physical world — but Scripture assures us that it soon will be! So now we’re just waiting for the full manifestation of His kingdom over this entire world (all there is!), when the earth will be renewed by fire and His redeeming work in us will be completed. Then we will finally be delivered from these bodies of flesh and the Adamic (sinful) nature still lurking in them. For now, the battle in all believers between spirit and flesh rages on, as Paul addressed in Rom. 7, but we have the victory in Christ and it’s only a matter of time before ALL THINGS (including our lowly flesh) are brought under subjection to Him...
