More from the Daily Advertiser..... COACH Tim Graham has the chance to lead Tumut to its first grand in almost a decade, taking on Temora in the first division preliminary final. The Bulls havent been in a final since narrowly falling short to Cootamundra in the 2006 decider. They will have a good opportunity playing at Jarrah Park against a team coming off a 42-point loss. The Bulls have momentum after a stirring come from behind win over Ag College, and its something Graham wants to keep. Its definitely an advantage to have a bit of momentum coming into the game and I think its important to start well to maintain that momentum, he said. With both first and second grades playing in preliminary finals, tomorrow will be a big day for the Bulls. Graham hasnt been able to settle on a team just yet and doesnt expect to know who will play until game day. Fullback Justin Shortis wont play after injuring his hamstring in the warm-up on Saturday. Tumut scored a 17-point win over the Tuskers when the two teams met in round one, but Graham is expecting a different challenge in the preliminary final. With the results after the split theyve come a long way from the start of the season, Graham said. We are definitely expecting them to put up a good challenge. Temora number eight Niko Degei is one player the Bulls will be out to contain, while Graham is also looking to limit the Tuskers broken play opportunities.
