More great training with kids and brumbies last weekend and this weekend. Lolly is back under saddle. Rainbow is working towards being ridden. Im due to have a baby in October so not doing any riding myself. Working with the students who are doing wonderful training with the brumbies. It is very pleasing to see such relaxed brumbies, bonding with new students and learning to enjoy all aspects of domestic life. I find one of the challenges with rehoming the brumbies, that they bond with me as Im undertaking all their handling and it takes time for them to form the same bond and trust with their new owner. With the horsemanship classes the brumbies are being handled by many different people and learning to relax in all situations. Fantastic to watch their emotional growth each week.
