More humid conditions have returned to the area and with the increased moisture, rain chances will begin to pick back up today. A few showers and storms will be around to start the day with additional showers and storms arriving this afternoon. The strongest storms will have some gusty wind, heavy downpours and frequent lightning. The chance for rain is 40%. Temperatures will once again be held back by clouds and rain with highs expected in the mid 80s. The chance for a little rain continues tonight. Lows will be in the low 70s. More showers and storms continue tomorrow with highs in the mid to upper 80s. The overall weather pattern will remain stagnant through the end of the week. Showers and storms will be possible at times and could come at any hour of the day or night. Temperatures will run below average for early August with highs generally in the mid to upper 80s. A weak cold front moves into the area this weekend keeping the chance for a few showers and storms going into Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures over the weekend will be near the 90 degree mark.
