More important than the actual Ice bucket dumping is the fact that the #ALSIceBucketChallenge is raising alot of awareness and donations for a disease that not many knew about before this. It seems that people are getting lost in the popularity of this activity rather than the message behind it. This video was done in spirit of the founder of this challenge, Pete Frates, who made it so that this degenerative disease could be brought into the spotlight. I personally learned alot more about ALS while researching and I truly hope my donation will be a part of the funding needed to hopefully find a cure.
